In 1863, James William Kaseberg, a native of Germany, gave up the freighting business and went into business raising sheep. Originally known as the 50,000 acre Kaseberg Ranch, Diamond K Estates offers you the unique opportunity to live comfortably in a beautiful historic setting, surrounded by gently rolling hills and statuesque oak trees. The community was built where 40,000 imported French Merino sheep once peacefully grazed.

The Kaseberg mansion, built in the 1890's, was the primary residence for the Kaseberg family. The mansion now serves as Park offices, as well as one of the activity centers for the Diamond K community.

The main “Ranch House” was built in the 1850s and it still stands on our property. A brick cistern was later added to accommodate water storage for the mansion and other ranch buildings.
